Annyeong haseyo!
Epic things that happened this week:
- I got a Korean bank account
- I got a Korean cell phone
- I (finally) got a transit card
- I drank soju (what is soju?) (want to hear an awesome song about soju?)
- I did not go into work for a single minute for the first weekend ever!
On Friday, we took Kindergarten to another field trip. This was a dinosaur expo. They had a 3D short film that ended up being pretty graphic. It was geared towards kids, but not as young as ours (I don't think). A few of the girls got really scared and were in our laps the whole time. Since it was 3D, I think they were more scared than they would have been otherwise. Cute little Jessica thought the dinosaurs were going to eat her. There was a live action portion. And then they had an area with different stations like a kid's museum, where they could do dinosaur related activities.
I can not explain to you how perfect this picture is. It makes me crack up every single time I see it. . . letting their little personalities show.
The dinosaur during the live action and 3D show. . . who knew dinosaurs had so many legs!!!
"Say hello to the dinosaurs, kids" "Teachah, Teachah, Dinosaw beeeeeg!"
I leave the apartment the other day, and these 2 guys are having target practice. Guns are illegal in Korea. The police don't even carry guns. They have very powerful air-soft guns though apparently. I'm assuming this is what they were using, unless of course I'm living in the Compton of South Korea.
Look what I found!!!!!!!!! I guess I can get my hair cut after all!
I finally have a microwave. Yes, it's on top of my refrigerator because I don't have a counter to put it on .
Trying to get a shot of how bizarrely clean their subway is. . . but it's a subway so I couldn't get a really good picture without looking like a crazy person in front of everyone.
. . . like this guy. I was using my iPhone so it was pretty stealth. Just trust me, it's crazy clean.
more later. . .
